What's the difference between Free, Starter and Pro?
Free, up to 100 items, 1 user, 1 location, £0 forever. Starter (£19/mo), up to 2,000 items and your team. Pro (£39/mo), up to 10,000 items. No card needed to start.
Do you take card payments at the till?
No. WardenFox is cash-based. You take the customer's cash and tap to complete the sale; we record it and drop your stock automatically. We don't process cards or connect to a card machine. (Your own subscription to us is paid by card, that's separate.)
Can I import my existing stock from a spreadsheet?
Yes, Items → Import, upload a CSV and map your columns (name, SKU, price, quantity). You can export the same way any time.
What devices does it work on? Do I need to install anything?
Any modern browser, phone, tablet or laptop. Nothing to install; a tablet works best for the till. Add it to your home screen for an app-like icon.
How do I ring up a sale?
Open the Till, add items (scan or tap), take the cash and complete the sale. The stock count updates itself.
I made a mistake on a sale, can I undo it?
Yes, find the sale under Sales and undo it. The stock is put back automatically.
How do I create and print barcodes?
Open an item → Generate barcode → print labels. We make the barcode for you, you don't need existing ones. A camera or USB scanner reads them.
How do stock counts and low-stock warnings work?
Start a Stock count, tap through your shelves, and we reconcile the numbers. Set a reorder point and low items show a LOW badge on your dashboard with a filter, all in-app, no nagging emails.
How do I add staff, and what can each role do?
Settings → Team to invite or remove. Admin, full access; Editor, items and till; Viewer, look only.
How do I upgrade, downgrade or cancel, and what happens to my data?
Settings → Billing. Cancel and you keep paid features until the period ends, then drop to Free. Nothing is ever deleted, if you're over the Free limit your items stay safe, you just can't add new ones until you remove some or upgrade.
I forgot my password or lost my 2FA device.
Use Forgot password on the sign-in page. For 2FA, use one of the backup codes you saved, or email [email protected] and we'll verify you and reset it.
Where is my data stored, and can I export or delete it?
Your shop database is hosted in the United Kingdom. You can export everything to CSV or permanently delete your account any time from settings. We never sell your data.
Which online stores can I connect?
Shopify, WooCommerce, Square and Etsy. Connect from Settings → Integrations and stock stays in step between WardenFox and your store.
